Spatial, environmental and site-responsive works, including reconstruction studies based on memory, surviving fragments, spatial records and later physical mockups.

End Max Tokyo, 1991. Wall installation, reconstruction study from memory and venue photographs.

Materials:

Glass test tubes, diluted acrylic pigment, tea leaves, cork, hand-cut timber brackets, UV light.

Installation:

Two horizontal rows mounted along the primary wall plane of the L-shaped room.

Lighting:

UV blacklight illumination producing differentiated fluorescent and organic tonal responses.

A site-specific wall installation created for an underground dance music event at End Max Tokyo, in 1991, featuring DJ Larry Levan and DJ David DePino.
No photography or video documentation of the installation is known to exist. [ Live recording of the event ] End Max Tokyo closed shortly after the early 1990s underground club period.
